Struts won't repair a cracked spring.

Check eBay, typically around $405 shipped is what you'll find for Tokicos.

Eibach springs are a good combo for you at the same time to replace your broken springs.

I paid $624 total for my tokico/eibach combo. Tokico's from ebay $405 shipped, eibach's from work (advance) for $219 after tax. :)

I bought a set of Tokico's here for $505 shipped last year.

http://www.shox.com/

Be aware of where you are buying Tokico Shocks. Tokico may not cover the warranty at unauthorized dealers. I do know someone who got burned on an ebay purchase with out of box bad shocks that Tokico refused to honor the warranty.

more rubber, more HP.....
There's a complete set of new Koni's for the SHO on ebay right now for $420 (font AND rear, so all FOUR). IMHO that's a real deal, considering the best price I could previously find for a set of TWO koni's was $315, or $630 for a set of FOUR.

I forget the sellers name (motorsports something or rather) just search "taurus sho koni" and they should come up.

You can get Koni strut inserts at Summit Racing if you really want, but SHOX.com & others do have them cheaper usually.

As for the warranty from Tokico, BS. The struts come with a warranty card, you print off your Paypal & eBay receipts & mail in your warranty card & you should be good to go. If that's not the case, then Tokico damned well better state that right up front, and eBay better be making these guys state you're not getting the real deal.

However, most bulk suspension dealers on eBay will warranty something directly rather than through the manufacturer if you run into a problem.

I know for a fact that SHOX.com use to offer them to us for $108/each. I don't know if you have to tell them your a forum member or what the deal was. They list them at $571.20 now. I'd call them up and ask them of search through the forum. I'm positive that's the price (even have it noted in my site bookmark for them).

As far as I know he is still fighting with the vendor and Tokico to get the struts replaced. It is the typical finger pointing at each other. Sure its BS, but why risk the BS with some fly-by-night vendor on Ebay.

I've bought Tokicos & Eibachs on eBay on multiple occasions, haven't had a failure yet (knock knock).

Yeah, I think it was Ian Fisher who coordinated the SHOX thing, not sure.
