I am looking to start making performance modifications to my 2011 SHO I recently purchased. I was wondering what cold air intakes everyone was running. I want to hear that turbo spool! I am going to get an intake, catless downpipes, plugs, thermostat and a gearhead tune (from what ive been reading people seem to think they are ahead of livernois now). But yeah, what is the best sounding CAI out there since the gains from it are minimal i want it to sound good lol

$300 to $500 for just turbo spool noise is steep in my book with zero performance value.....

I would rather drop in and K&N and remove the factory rear mufflers.

IMO the newer afe stage 2 kit. Uses the factory lower box and air scoop and also has a cover. You won’t hear any more spool though.

I bought the K&N one for my limited Taurus it did sound pretty nice. Only had it on for a week though, then I bought my SHO( still have it ) very new condition. I have the one from LMS too that I took off when I went back to stock on the SHO last week, I’m not gonna use it again so ,Just dropped in a K&N filter. Like I said both intakes are like new. I think u will like the sound.
