Best buy has the amp integration harness for the 91 SHO's with JBL for $15 in the install dept. Guy was nice as **** & I was expecting to pay @ least $30 but I have yet to install the cd player yet. Thought I'd pass along the word.

So is it better to integrate the factory amps or bypass them? Crutchfield wanted 50 bucks for the harness to integrate for my 93 , so I passed on it. I don't have the sub hooked up anymore, so I really didn't see the need for the amps to be power the speakers when the headunit I am getting has 22w rms x 4 and 50w peak x4

Actually the harness to bypass the amps was I believe $15-20 MORE than the one that integrated them. I personally see no reason in not using them unless you are replacing all the speakers & amping them with something diff.

And I stated already how much power the headunit would be giving the speakers...and I'm sure thats more than the stock amp puts out.
