Since I hardly ever drive the car anymore, along with having too many cars to maintain, I've decided to sell Bandito so someone else can enjoy it instead of sitting in my garage. This car has been owned by three other board members, so it has a history here. I think the oldest member was greenbeanMTX. It was my daily driver for a year and a half when I first got it, and then became a weekend/road trip car. I've taken it to a couple of autocross events with SHOspazz, and it is a blast to drive if you ever decide to yourself. It has gotten a best of 28 mpg and a worst of 23. The car has 217k miles on it, with about 35k on the engine. I've used nothing but synthetic oil and K&N oil filters. The front control arms, hubs, and passenger side axle were replaced within the last 10k miles. The clutch was also replaced with a stock replacement LUK unit within the last 5000 miles. I will be putting in a new steering rack along with outer tie rod ends this week (it leaks). The radiator and water pump were recently replaced and the AC was recharged. I also have a spare Plus hood, side cladding and rear bumper that I had collected in case I ever got in a wreck. The car also comes with a certificate of authenticity from Ford.

My asking price is $4500 firm.

The good:
3.2 swap with 3.0 intake cams, ported heads, underdrive pullies, equal length catless Y-pipe, and cold air intake. Area91 was involved in the engine rebuild and swap.
Reinforced motor mounts front and rear
Aluminum subframe bushings
Subframe connectors
Rear H-brace
Strut tower braces front and rear
Eibach springs
Adjustable Konis front and rear
94/95 steering knuckles with PBR calipers. The caliper brackets were redrilled to use 12" rotors to fit behind the factory wheels. Now that it has 17" wheels, you just need to swap rotors and put some new caliper brackets on.
Steel braided brake lines
17" Sport edition wheels with 225/50R17 Michelin Pilot Sports
Jose SHOrt throw shifter
Alpine CD player with Hertz component speakers, 2 12" Premier subwoofers with a JBL amp, and a Rockford Fosgate amp for the highs.
I have a ported intake that I never put on because it wouldn't do much good without BBBs, which I never got around to getting.

The bad:
It has a constant electrical drain that will require the car to be jumped after sitting for 3 or 4 days. When it was my daily driver it wasn't an issue and when it became a garage queen I just disconnected the battery.

The car doesn't like rain. If you drive through a heavy storm water will get in the front spark plug wells. It has Taylor wires, but some Motorcraft wires may cure this. Again, since it's a garage queen it hasn't been an issue with me. The rear passenger door leaks water some. The weatherstripping is in good shape, so I have no idea why it leaks. The sunroof seal also needs to be replaced. It sometimes leaks, but not too bad. If you leave it outside in the rain, park with the front facing downward and any rain that creeps in will leak out the front drain. I believe The Sunroof Doctor has replacement seals.

The front driver's seat was recovered at some point with a vinyl cover. The seams are splitting on the bottom. The seat is still comfy, though.

The paint is a 10 footer. When you get up close, the paint has some cracks here and there, and when it was repainted the cladding and window trim weren't removed.

The Plus bumper has been replaced with a standard SHO bumper. The original was torn and I couldn't find a replacement that wasn't also torn.

The airbag light is flashing. I think one of the sensors just needs to be replaced.

One of the wheels has been curbed and Sport Edition has discontinued. I have been told a good wheel repair shop can repair it and repowdercoat it so it looks new again, but I never got around to it.

The exhaust is a hack job with Flowmaster mufflers.

2 cracks on the dash.
