Bent Valves??

I e-mailed a guy on ebay that was parting his SHO, to see why. Anyway he e-mails me back and says he broke a timing belt and the valves are bent. I thought that SHO motor didn't bend valves when the timing belt breaks? By the way its a 1993 with a 3.2.

The valves shouldnt be bent if the timing belt breaks as the V6's are non-interference motors. If it was a V8 that'd be a different story. Maybe the belt broke and he assumes the valves are bent? I would definitely try to find out some more info.

If the seller is assuming the valves are bent, then he ought to be giving up the motor pretty cheap. So let him assume.
