Bad Trans Or Not?!?

Gave my 93 SHO ATX to my son, after driving it for while the tranny just started acting strange.To make a long story short I had to go get it yesterday. The car seems to not have N or R however it will go forward in P R N D but wants to move in all gears forward only. Drove it home in N (which I believe was actually 2nd gear) with no problems. Would the comp. I believe it is the H3Z have anything to do with that or would the trans be shot and in need of rebuild? This problem just occured. Had nothing wrong prior to this except the OD did not work.
Any help anyone could be would be greatly appreciated.

Sounds like the linkage may have just slipped on the MLPS.

Mr. Anonymous, thanks for the tip,.........Checked the linkage seems to be secured. Would it have come off in the trans?
