Now since my car is driveable again after like a year there is a problem or two. I think the switch for the wipers that is on the steering column is fubared. The wipers will not come on if they are set in the intermittent setting, they only come on when they are set for low or high in the constant moving setting. Also when I press the button for the washer fluid the wipers will come on and stay on till I shut the car down, which usually means putting it in nuetral while I'm driving down the road and turning it off. I am guessing I have to get a new switch? It worked fine when the car was parked like a year ago.

Another problem is that cruise doesn't work now either. That worked before too, but I am guessing something isn't plugged in for it. The light on the dash comes on when I press the on buttong for cruise, but it won't set.

Any ideas?

Make sure the cruise control cable is still attached to the throttle linkage.

The MFS sounds like it is dirty. You can take it off and douse it in a solvent like WD 40 while working it through all it's functions. Take the end cap off the wiper switch, remove the small spring and contacts, clean this out as it will be full of a hardened grease the re grease with some petroleum jelly and reassemble. it will be good as new.

Or you can buy a new switch. :)
