bad plug seals...how to change?

im new to the sho seen and i need to do the plug seals at least

do i have to take the intake off? can i get away with just puting some sylicone on the plug seals and out everything back together or do i need to spend 100 bucks on gaskets?

what else should i do while im in there...the timeing belt has been done a few thousand miles ago

You only use RTV on the corners of the gasket. It is not recommended to use it on the plug well seals. Yes, you need to just drop about $80 to take care of it. But, they last generally around 60-100k miles.
