94/95 trans with all the AX4S updates. Since you are stock, just leave it the way it is unless you plan on doing some crazy mods. Also, get yourself a D4U1 computer.

I have a 93 ATX. What computer does it have? Would the D4U1 be a reliability upgrade, or a performance upgrade? Thanks

Yes, they do. You'll want to go with the trans-go shift kit with it. If you do a search for it you will find it.

The D4U1 is the computer for the '94-'95 ATX's. It controls the motor the same, but has a much better configuration for the ATX, resulting in firmer quicker shifts - which will extend the life of your transmission and make it much more enjoyable to drive.

You can get most parts from www.bulkpart.com

I'd forget the Trans-Go and get the Superior instead. Same performance plus reliability upgrades.

The greatest difference between the 93 and the 94/95 is the turbine shaft. This upgrade is not very expensive: new shaft and torque converter (which shuld be replaced anyway.)
