I just bought my 95 SHO and the previous owner had B&G Red Springs not sure what I should do if I should keep these or get something better if I keep these what is the best strut combo I do plan on taking it to the track every once in awhile. This summer I'm working on my suspension setup. Thanks again my SHO aficionados. I don't know what I would do without your SHO University degree you guys are a value Asset thanks again

B&G are supposed to be decent aftermarket springs per the Shosource site. Can you tell what struts the previous owner used?

The struts and springs are original still on the car he just had these in a box when I bought it the strutd and springs look to be original the car only has 75,000 miles on it and is near mint condition underneath and all around

I have not tried the B&Gs springs but if you read the Shosource site description they are supposed to be stiffer than Eibach. I am currently running Eibach on Monroe sensatracs. They lower the car about an inch and stiffen the ride up somewhat. I'm also running a 26mm rear sway bar so that stiffens the car up some as well. If you do a search on this site, you can probably find some pictures of cars with aftermarket springs installed.

If you use the B&G springs, you will probably want to try and find some used Koni's or Tokicos unless you are going to go with the Shosource coilover set up.

Thank you for all the NFL I am currently driving my SHO from New York City back to Ohio she will be running for over 8 hours today and it's running great but my thermostat stuck open and it's running a bit cool right now and when I am stuck in traffic starts creeping up a little bit the auto parts store said they have a 180 and 190 degree thermostat what should I run

Great car find! I am not satisfied with any of the current off the shelf strut replacements and would consider the custom stuff shosource is offering in the group buy. I haven't had any better performance than good condition oem struts. Not available, so sensatracs are about the next best thing. The Koni's were good with aftermarket springs but those that are still around are usually well used and not sure if Koni will still rebuild them.

But as of right now this year I'm going to invest a lot of time and money in this one and make it the perfect example as much as I can
