OK, so I am going to do an autocross with the SHO. It is a PP and has the traction control and Advancetrac options. Only get three runs, and I am an experienced autocross and open track driver, just not with an AWD SHO. I will do the first run in standard mode with tranny in manual. This is a large parking lot autocross, but speeds under 50.

Any thoughts on what mode might serve me best? Thanks

I would imagine set traction control and Stabilitrak control. To help rotate the car. More important get the car aligned at a good shop. Play around with the tire pressures and nitrogen gas instead of air too.

Why not call up Carl Edwards and ask him what setting he used?
:burnout:
Of course the video shows him pretty much drifting, which is awesome but not the fastest way around the course.

I have years autocrossing SHO's, and doing AWD, but none autocrossing AWD SHO's. From limited experience with TC modes, I am certain that you want disable at least the first couple of layers of nannies especially as you've got experience.

My favorite reactions were when the people I finished ahead of, were getting crap from their buddies, "Man, you just got beat by a grocery getter!"
