My climate control, manual or automatic, does not function at all. The display will light up but that's it. Is it a big job to fix? Let me know. shrug

If the alternator isn't putting out enough charge (failing), then the whole cars electrical system is running on a lower voltage. That in turn doesn't give the EATC enough voltage to run it, yet enough to make it light up...or act strange.

The symptoms manifested by the EATC due to a faulty electrical system are usually described as a flashing disply or the unit powers itself on/off.

Yours doesn't sound like that, but check the battery voltage anyway with the engine running to be certain.

I took mine to the dealer and got it done for free...but it is not a big job, it did happen to me, but try that...if you do not have a warranty, try replacing the fuses...
