ATX Update/ added Trans-X.... WOW!!!! How could this be?????????????????

If you guys remember... I had problems shifting from 1st to 2nd ONLY when cold. My Uncle is a mechanic and he told me to add Trans-X. It took the problem away about 95%!!!! How could a $7 bottle of fluid do such good things????????

It puffs up the seals and cleans out the varnish in the transmission. I had a 92 Mustang 4 cylinder and we replaced the transmission but not the rear seal (stupid, yes). It leaked for a while until it was suggested that I put some (4-5 oz) of brake fluid in. Cleared the problem right up and never leaked a day after. Brake fluid will do the same thing but that was a $240 junkyard trans, don't put it in your SHO's
