ATX Transmission Trouble - 1994 SHO

Hi guys,

We have a 1994 SHO with ATX and yesterday while driving the transmission was shifting from first to second and then jumped into neutral which is essentially where it has stayed. It doesn't matter what position the shifter is in, there just seems to be no connection between the engine and the transmission.

We have checked the tranny fluid and it is fine and the linkage seems OK too.

Any ideas? This is starting to sound expensive...

I didn't know the 94s were v8s :theyareontome: (Gen2 section is above).

Anyway, check the manual lever position sensor (also called neutral safety switch). If that's not it, I'd say it's rebuild time.
