My 94 ATX has a transmission line that is leaking. It connects to the transmission and runs in the back of the radiator. Does anyone know if the line is still available or can I cut it and use a rubber hose? I would like to replace it but it looks like a suck job to remove it from the trans. I have a pic but it's on my phone and ******.

The factory connection at the trans has a fitting with a little white plastic clip - you press the sides of the white clip together and the line pops off the fitting. Many guys replace these with a regular hose barb fitting and put a hose on with a hose clamp. This works fine as long as you have the hose clamp tight.

That's exactly what I did. Also, you can use a large diameter hose than the metal tube = more fluid flow=cooler fluid=happier tranny.

The fittings into the tranny just unscrew. You can then screw in 1/4" NPT x 3/8" hose barbs and use 3/8" tranny cooler hose and replumb the system.
