ok so im converting a 93 atx sho to a mtx using the 3.2 engine, i know the rubber radiator hoses and the rubber heater core hoses are different and need to be swapped, i already ordered a new set from rcm automotive, but my question is do the two metal pipes that run from around the thermostat housing to the rear of the 3.2 engine that conect to the rubber heater core hoses need to be switched from a 3.0 engine or will the 3.2 ones work?

The location of the ATX engine is farther forward than the MTX motor. So everything attached to the motors going to the firewall & body are a bit different. Some things may work, some may not.

The metal pipes on the heater hoses that you refer to will need to be changed to the 3.0 parts to work on an mtx - the atx parts are several inches too long, and will not allow the hoses to be attached.

Perhaps the easiest thing to do is just cut the rubber parts off your existing hoses (i.e., keep the metal parts, take off the end crimp and remove the hose), and use some generic heater hose to connect the heater core. I didn't start out that way, but it ended up that way. ;)
