I am going to install an electric transmission temp gauge. I noticed there is a 3/8 in plug right above the line leaving the transmission for the cooler. The temp sending unit fits right in there. I am not sure if this is a good place for the unit? I don't want to put a hole in the pan. Has anyone used this port for there sending unit?
