ATX from Junyard How Much?

How much should I expect to pay for a used ATX transmission off an under 50000 mile SHO? The are quoting me 700 plus 100 frieght with a 90 day warrenty unlimited miles.

Simply cose you donno what the **** happenend to the one hes selling you , its a guess....

700$ for a guess...id go for the rebuild , you KNOW its right.

I doupt its gonna pass 1k to redo it..

Depends on many things. I just had a used tranny put in my 93 Bonneville. A well recommended shop got from a bone yard. Tested it and installed it for under 1K. 6months 6k miles warrantee. My $2200 rebuild failed at 55k miles. Crappy rebuilder. Would not honor verbal warrantee. I understand some ATX's were recalled and replaced. You could get one of those. You could get a cream puff. How do you plan to drive it????

Hard, as I did my Ford rebuilt trans.

it could cost alot to rebuild an atx. i paid for a rebuild that cost me 2300 and the trans dosen't feel 100 percent. i keep bringing it back but the guy says its normal even though i dont think it is so he wont fix it. like the other guy said crappy rebuilder and i do wish i either junked the car or bought a used atx somewhere.
