Im seriously considering buying a brand new tranny from certified transmissions for $2500.00

I have a 93, Im gonna order one for a 95 because they are built better. My question is, will the 95 bolt right onto my 93 3.2?...Also, does anyone know where I can get a better deal?...Their website says that every part is brand new.

Thats about the price of a rebuild. Is there a warranty? The 95 tranny will fit into a 93 you should also get the computer for the 95 its a better computer.

what makes it a better computer?

Better shift points, better (higher) line pressures. It will help prolong the life of any transmission, as every millisecond between gears is a millisecond the clutches are slipping, and the clutches only have so much life in them...

to have the tranny (automatic) rebuilt in my turbo SHO was only $1000. you might want to consider having it built locally to save some money. I can almost guarantee that every part in that tranny is not going to be new. new clutches, bearings, and electronics. The hard parts don't go bad unless something catastrophic happens like a diff pin or planetary destruction. I think reman units from ford are less than what you were quoted. Honestly they are not a bad option either since they will have all of the updated parts on them.

Well i looked into having a local shop rebuild mine. They said that if I wanted it rebuilt to 94-5 specs, it would be alot more because they changed the valve bodys in those years.

They said they would rebuild my 93 and upgrade the soft parts for 1300 if I pulled it and reinstalled it. Add 400 to have them pull and install.

I could get a 94 from a boneyard here for 550 and have the local shop rebuild it, but I wouldnt be saving much from buying the brand new one from certified transmissions.

Everdrive.com has a 95 for sale for 1000, but all they do is inspect, clean and ship. Im up in the air about what I should do at this point. I wanna save as much green as possible, but I want a good trans.

Brand new tranny? While there may be a couple hidden in corners in private hands, I highly doubt a tranny shop has the resources to get one.

If you can get good pricing from a local Ford dealer, they should be able to get you a Ford reman for about $1500 plus install labor ($500-$700) and they come with a 3yr/75k mile warranty valid at any FLM dealer in the country.

FWIW, the P/N on the Ford reman tranny is F4DZ7V000DRM and the list price is $2008.93 (dealer cost is about $1350). It's been over a year since we ordered one, so they may not even be available any longer, but it can't hurt to try.

Is the 94 and 95 computer the same in the 3.2?
