Also, ive not seen anywhere that it says the OEM wastegate is 3-4 psi. I was told by my tuner that it is 7-8psi

Has Luis or Lee provided guidance on what to look for and where to trouble shoot?
Yes and we've tried to troubleshoot it
But you have to remember they are just going off of datalogs and giving me their best guess, so when someone at altitude (which it doesn't appear they know all about) starts offering up answers im gonna atleast give it a shot.
I haven't done any tuning on FI cars so I don't know that a maxed out wastegate cant just look like a tired turbo WHICH IM PRETTY SURE IT DOES.

Yes the upgraded turbos would be better for altitude. They can help tip the scale with the air density problem, by flowing more air. Also, this train wreck happens every so often, I am starting to enjoy them more and more.
Sure it will happen plenty with me as im an ******* and dont like people wasting time.

I dont recall ever stating stock wastegate size. The turbosmarts come preset at 7psi for the SHO application, that's all we discussed.

I'm expendable....erm essential. I haven't missed a day of work since 2010. I've never been able to work from home either lol

Same here. We do some medical and government work and that allowed us to stay open. I had a week off because I asked for it when the child care was shut down.

Thats what Luis told me. Also, you told me that when testing the wastegate it should start to open at 7-8psi?

Stock at 7psi sounds about right. I'm almost certain that's what the truck has too. What's got me concerned is I started seeing a limiter called cylinder pressure. I'm scared to adjust that one.... im at 24psi boost.
