I sold my 96' SHO a few months ago, it was in really good condition (148K) with welded cams, all options, nice paint, good interior, rebuilt transmission, tons of new parts, new tires, and everything worked. It look a couple months to find the right buyer...like someone has already said you will get a lot of no shows and low-ballers. Eventually I sold the car for $2800.
I hope I don't offend you, but a car with a bad transmission has very little demand. Best of luck with sale.
