damn I'm gonna try to make it lol, I'm spending sheetloads of money this week and next week... 90% of my paycheck on the SHO to get it ready for a roadtrip... even that is questionable and cutting it close....

I think my P/S pump is making noise and going out, if so that looks like a B itch to change, and its 191 bucks.... I couldn't get directly on the P/S pump with my stethoscope, but the pulley right next to it sure is loud as ****, would be a nice thought that the pulley is the only thing bad lol... I just don't think a bad pulley would make that sort of noise though.

I just whent out today and bought new rotors, pads, and caliper brackets to get the 11.6 setup up to par. 130 bucks just for those parts.....

I really need 2 tires cause my fronts have gone to ****, my windshield is cracked but I might just run that, and god bless me nothing breaks this week!

I guess I could get 2 used tires and put off buying a set of performance tires until after Daytona.... that would spare me a good hunk of change.... after all I will need a lot of money for gas... this thing is a hog!
i know your scared of this stock MTX fury!

I defintely need to fix my brakes and atleast 1 tire........ If I can't get the sho working I'll go in my brother's Nissan or such.. I dunno.

I can't find caliper brackets that fit for my brakes... so that is a big problem and my brakes are done for as of right now, they just about had their last ride and I think I heard the begining of metal on metal on the last 2 stops...

I can goto the junkyard tomorrow but the chances of seeing a gen3 sho is slim to none. I've never seen a 2001+ taurus in a junkyard before around here either.

I"ll get there but I won't stop in time lol.... damn nobody local has that bracket, haven't called the Ford dealer yet though....

Autozone, Advanced auto, and Pep Boys don't have the caliper bracket I need, nor do they even have loaded calipers with them, at this point that almost sounded like a good option, as I've searched on here and some people got the brackets that way... but no more.

I'll be there. Still not sure if I'll have the SHO or if we will be in the Excursion, just depends on if you guys need me to bring any of those parts. Mario will be driving his SLO down. Nick will be there also, but is most likely tagging along with me and John since his car is (STIIIILLLL) not finished.

Oh, and watch out for unmarked Chargers.

its the 96 SHO caliper bracket.

hard to find at parts stores. I have trouble finding gen3 sho's at junkyards...

pads.jpg

They have that FN74 cast into them.........

Sorry that pic is from SHOtimes, good info on 11.6 brakes though

http://www.shotimes.com/php-bin/modules.php?op=modload&name=News&file=article&mode=thread&order=0&thold=0&sid=190

this setup uses the larger Gen3SHO pad, gen3 sho rotor, gen 3 sho, caliper bracket. From what I hear the actual caliper is the same for a 94-95 SHO...

your bracket does not need to be off a GenIII SHO,it can be off any random turd gen!
if you cant find them, email mark at RCM and tell him you need them ASAP! see if he can get them out to you this week

thats not what I heard, or found out twice!

they MUST be a 96-99 SHO or 01+ Taurus Caliper bracket. I just tried to install 99 Taurus SLO brackets twice with no luck... POS parts stores had them listed as SHO units but not the case.....

Dan Barbush is sending me a set, I know he usually has a little stock pile of Taurus parts and I got lucky when I sent him an email asking if he has these brackets. USPS priority should be here Wednesday! Dan's the man, hes my new best friend lol.... the taurus will drive again soon...........

yeah good guy, I got a set of slicers in nice shape from him at a reasonable price, intrax springs, and he came through on this one!

I'll take this time to investiage my P.S. pump issue more, and pull that sucker off and see what it needs.

I still plan to go. If anyone needs a ride or something, let me know.

Right now I'm in PA. I'll probably be home midweek.

I'm not sure if I have already asked this, but if anyone has any black interior parts laying around, I might be interested in purchasing them...

What do you want? I've got a whole Gen 2 mocha interior but it's easy to paint/dye pieces. I just want to get rid of this stuff!!!!!
38SHO, I looked and I don't have an extra tranny mount. I thought I did, sorry.
