Are kyb gr-2's any good for the money?

i read that kyb gr-2's are 10% stiffer then stock and tokikos are 15%. first is this true? second is that 5% difference worth $220 more than then the gr-2's? just a question, i dont have money for either, but when i do.........i have intrax sitting in box from like a year ago and i dont want to mount them with stock struts.

the KYBs will not last you more than 6k miles with Intrax springs. i installed a new set of KYBs with a set of Eibachs and by the end of the Fordbastard run, they struts were worn out. the KYBs are not performance valved, therefore they arent worth a squat with performance springs. go with the Tokicos or Konis.

From personal experience, real soon after instal turns unsafe ride as it pogo sticks like crazy on a bumpy road.
