APIM 2nd USB port?

On the APIM, I noticed 2 usb ports, but my car only 1 used
And going through my shop manual I couldn't find what it is for, it doesn'teven show it being used, does anyone know what the 2nd usb port is for?

In FORScan, under APIM easy options, there is an option to enable USB2.
