Well they took the '97 off to the repair place today on the hook. I believe the TC is FUBARED and maybe the tranny. I am getting a heavy duty TC put in it, an new tranny from FPS if needed, a new Electric Pressure Control Solenoid and I am putting in 3.98 gears. Also sent the FordChip off to get flashed for the gear ratio change.

Anything else I should do while the tranny is out?

Well on hot rods we double stack the clutches. You could possibly doublestack the clutch packs on the AX4N. Also, I believe there is an updated bushing to prevent torque converter failure.

What info do you have on that updated bushing?
