Can’t find LWSP anywhere. Tried Amazon, summit, and a few others. They all come back saying they can’t fulfill the order due to lack of inventory. Thinking about giving the heavy schockproof fluid a go, figured I’d see if anyone else has used it, and what you thought.

The Redline lightweight shockproof gear oil is currently out of stock at Redline. Probably because Redline is a small company, catering to the automotive aftermarket, and they have a finite capacity for manufacturing their products. They will make a run of one of their products, then retool for another run. Redline is a relatively small refinery and located in the Bay Area near San Francisco.

BTW, jegs.com has some in stock
You sure? When supply chains get drained of supply often dropship sellers have items listed as available until you order it and they have to cancel. Maybe Jegs keeps inventory. Just something I noticed generally over many years of buying parts.

I went to their website and they claim they have it. www.jegs.com

Really? I went to Jegs last week, they didn't have any on the shelf and told me it was on back order. I'll have to run over sometime this week and check.

EDIT: I checked again and they were out again. :(

Meant to say something the other day, but good find. Last few places I tried that said it was in stock, ended up sending me an email after I ordered saying it was in fact not in stock.

Got a tracking number from these guys instead. Good lookin out man, thanks.
No problem. Glad I can help.

Wait, What? That's a thing??

Yes, I've seen this several times, especially in automation control equipment. We had a project last year to upgrade the 34 year old control system on a machine but due to supply chain and logistics issues, we couldn't get the equipment we needed from our regular vendors. We started just looking around the Internet for places that claimed they had them in stock and on 95% of them they would come back and say, sorry items are on back order and when asked about the "In Stock" advertisement on their site, they would say 'oh these are normally stocked items at our vendor (most likely the same vendor we use) and they just happened to be out at this time'. It's truly infuriating.
