Hey guys. I'm wondering if any of you are thinking about going to the '07 convention in MI. I would like to go, but would feel much better about the trip if i wasn't making it alone.

i havent really looked into it that much. most likely money will become an issue for me as well as timing and work. once i finish my HW i may look into it.
it is my goal to go to at least one in my life. and this one is fairly close to us.

if i will be able to get work off i will go with my 91 plus, that would be sweet if we could get some ppl together to go out there, and have some good safe fun on the way there

I wonder which would be cheaper, go around lake Mich., or take the ferry across and mabey save some drive time.

I'm planning to go the convention this year. I hope to bring 2 of my SHos the 94' MTX and 95 ATX. I will tow the 94. just have to see how the year starts out. It sounds like a great time. Mark

I'm hoping to be able to make it this year again, I've missed the last couple , but been to 4 others and it is a great time. Be nice to see more than 1 or 2 (3 is most I've seen, including myself) from MN there as in past and get a few runnin' together on the way for once. The other two that I know have been there are out of the SHO bizness now, so we could definately use some new representation from MN. I'd like to have the SHO and the SRT10 there, but prob going myself. May tow the SHO w/it. in which case it would be especially nice to have someone else driving along.

Neither here.
I was talking to a friend of mine at work last night about the convention. He said it would be cheaper and a little faster to take the ferry across Lake Mich rather than driving around the southern tip. I would go either way, but its a thought.

Here is the info from Don on cost and hotel, they say if you put $10 a week away until the covention you'll have enough but it will all be based on what You want to take part in, (ie. 131 raceway, Grattan)

But if any of you guys need info about other hotel's in the area please let me know, The Host hotel is where you want to stay (parking lot hang outs and all that) but if the rate is to high there is a Hawthorne suite right next door and a Red Roof across the main street, I'm here to do some searching if it's needed.
