I'm picking up a 2016 SHO tomorrow, I did a search and nothing came up on Diablo. This seems like a great tune and the value at the moment is amazing. All my other cars have had chips burned and dyno tuned, i have never had plug and play programming. I have heard good things about Diablo but would like some owners opinions and feedback...good or bad. Thanks and I look forward to learning a few things.

canned tunes are not the best to do on these cars, that said custom tunes are the way to go.

livernos, unleashed, and AJT are the front runners on these cars.

myself will be doing a livernos stage 3 or 4 tune this summer

i could be wrong but never even heard any one running diablo on the ecoboost

as for tuning search on this forum here lots of great info and also try here for more stuff

Thanks Ray Jay. Diablo is very big in the Ford Mustang and Lightning world. So I was not sure about SHO but i definitely trust their credentials. Livers is famous in there too, and I know what they do with the SHO's. My Mustang has been tuned by Dave Guy in PA on an SCT tune and Dyno. I just have never heard of a stand alone tune and the Diablo was a very interesting alternative, and the price was right. I guess i may play with it and give some feed back from what I find.

MODS. Sorry I put this in the wrong spot, feel free to move.

From my years owning and playing with SVTs, Diablo kind of had a strong running name. ...kind of...

Like stated above, I too have never heard of people using Diablo with any form of EcoBoost. So take that as you may.

Quick glances around will point you in two directions.

Livernois
Unleashed

Both of which are top tier and very equally matched when it comes to performance results.

Livernois is 'boom, here ya go...done deal' without any kind of tinkering.

Unleashed has the ability to data log and fine tune it IF you put in the effort...which isn't much.

Both companies are above fantastic to work with. I myself have gad zero issues with either and both have an outstanding track record with other SHO owners.

Basically it all comes down to preference and I'm sure you're going to hear one is better/worse than the other. However, the actual truth is...the difference is so minimal, you would have a better chance debating that a Cheerio isn't circular.

Good to know and much appreciated. Livernois is well know to me in the Mustang Industry also and I see from the birds Unleashed is popular. The m ore I have looked SCT makes an SHO tune, and I love the SCT tune in my Mustang. I guess it comes down to preference. AT the price range I am looking at, it's not crazy to try one for a bit then switch to another. I'll keep you posted.

just be careful some of the canned tuns can be dangerous to the ecoboosts,

I just had my ford dealer install my diablo sport i2 tune
I had them install the 93octane tune and they also removed the rev limiters
That made my 2015 sho a ROCKET the shifting is awesome when you hit third gear when keeping the pedal to the floor it lunges like a rocket what a HUGE increase in HP

Good to hear. I posted this to see if anyone has run this tune. It seems the SHO platform it is SCT and Livernos and Unleashed. I was curious about Diablo, as they were very popular back in my day on Mustangs and Lightnings, and Amazon Racing who has been in the game for years is working ecoboost tunes with the Diablo with great success. I see you had Ford install the tune, what did they say about your warranty? As I am sure you know, it is no longer valid? Even if you return to a stock tune, the cc will show that had another tune installed and void the warranty. This is my only concern a newer car. I don't want to wait the three years but it's a lot of money to toss in to a new car if something hits that fan.

I put a sct on my 2009 Ford Flex and had a lot of maintenance work done even had a warranty guy come inspect my vehicle I had the sct badge on the car
the Ford dealer did all the work and it was all covered the Ford dealer said not against warranty I didn't change "parts" on the car so it doesn't void warranty

I also ask diablo sport about a foot print of the tune when you restore the factory settings and they said if you restore your factory settings which the i2tune stored it it won't leave a trace and the ford service tech stated the same-thing to me
So I'm not to worried about losing my warranty

I just checked with my guy, and he siadit would be void. BUT said if you are slick an put back the factory tune, maybe the tech won't notice. I a going to contact a Diablo tuner friend of mine at Amazin racing to find out for sure about this footprint thing. Thanks for the heads up.

Diablo says the void of warranty is strictly up to the dealer. That helps for shit. lol
Yah I'm not worried like I said I didn't have any trouble with my sct system on my flex and had it at multiple dealers and never got denied the warranty so I'll take the chance
Thanks
