I test drove a PP SHO last week, and was really would like to know how a non-PP drives, and what do I find, but a non-PP SHO in Dark Side, and it is not nearly as far from me as the one I test drove Saturday. I have yet to see the color in person, but from the photos it looks awesome. It is a 2015 SHO. Anyone out there have theirs in Dark Side? Opinions? I have always liked the Ruby Red color....but green is also a favorite. I wish they still had that green metallic from couple years ago. Another dealer just got in a ruby red with the Driver Assist package, so I suddenly have choices I didn't have last week.

IMO, the cool green of the Dark Side, does not show thru often enough. Get lots of comments about my "black car" but then when the lighting is just right, you can really seen the green/blue tint. I do like the color, though, don't get me wrong. Dealer I got mine thru was not ordering this color typically, they stuck with black white silver mostly. So not a lot of others around in the same color, which is part of what I like about it.

Not knocking the ruby red at all either. I liked that quite a bit, but my wife was "no red" when we were shopping.

I think I saw a picture of an older one that was the greenmetallic you mentioned. That was a nice look too.

I went to test drive a Dark Side SHO near Ft. Worth on Saturday. I made an appointment to test drive the car at 2 pm, two days before.....I got there right at two. Dealership was busy....I was patient....they couldn't find the keys for it. Sales guy apologized profusely, but they couldn't find the key. He said he specifically moved the car up for me...they never did find them. I left after about 30 minutes of waiting.
I was a bit perturbed to say the least. Luckily I had a couple of other cars to test in the area.

I had a heck of a time seeing the green in the paint. Even when the sun came out...I could tell a bit....but really, unless this was a bad example, it mainly looked black. I love the green gem color, that is sharp looking.

I have non Pp Darkside SHO. Everyone that had seen it said it's one of the most beautiful colors they have seen.

Definitely check out Ford's web page: http://www.ford.com/cars/taurus/gallery/colors-and-360-views/ That page allows you to get a 360 view of all the colors that Ford offers for the SHO. You can even change the background to either plain white or a sunny day that way you can see how the color will look in varying lighting conditions. Pretty cool.
