I thought non-PP tuned cars were the only ones outperforming PP cars due to 1st gear being essentially useless with mad power?
@6500rpm just to really muddy the waters - every once in a while you'll stumble across a Franken-build car (there are threads here on this) where a car has SOME of the indicators of a PP but not all. Mine is one. The factory report lists mine as a 3.16 diff, PP, has the compressor instead of the spare, but no alcantara steering wheel and no extra button to fully defeat stability. It confused the crap out of me when I was shopping. All the mechanical pieces though are there. And I can use the regular TC button to completely disable traction and stability like you should be able to on a PP car. Go figure.
I've driven both and personally like the tighter suspension of the PP car and there's a difference off the line in favor of the 3.16.
My $.02 since you have access to all the records - if you see 3.16 you have a PP car.
