Okay, I had this on my green 92 a couple years back. I have a silver 92 with 122k on the clock. I just did the front 60k about a month ago, but I noticed this problem even before that. I always seem to smell anti-freeze when my engine is hot, but there is no visual leak. No drips on the ground, nothing. I thought it was my water pump weaping, then I thought it was my over flow tank, but I have since replaced both of them , and I still smell Anti-Freeze! It drives me crazy! I wonder if it's such a small leak that it evaporates when it hits the hot engine?? I don't know, but I'd love to find out where it's comming from! Any suggestions?:nut:

Last time I had this problem it was the heater core. Where are you smelling it from though, the engine or inside? Mine was inside and you could really smell it with the heater on.Big bottle of bars leak fixed her right up.

Nope, mine is definantly comming from the engine bay area. I can't smell it till I get out, or roll down the window...

i had the same problem about a year ago.....yours might be leaking where mine was. I found mine to be leaking below the throttle body. There are 2 large hardlines that make their way to the fire wall, not the lines that enter the throttle body. I found that it only leaks when the engine is cold. it wouldn't leak after everything warmed up. If yours is leaking there you will find the coolant runs down the rubber portion of the hose and drips onto the top of the transmission casing, and settles on top of your tranny between two gussets. If you are smelling coolant yet can't find it dripping anywhere this could be the place. I would check all your lines below your throttle body it could be any of them. good luck

Yea, now that shoitoff said something... I would go ahead and buy some decent hose clamps. I trashed all those "squeeze fit" connectors, as they kinda crap out over time. Replaced all mine actually... helps to rule out those issues.
