would an antenna relocation be easy to do on the SHO? It really couldn't be too hard could it? I want a shorter, slanted antenna mounted just forward of the sunroof, kind of like what the 99 cougars had. I think the huge *** mast type antennas on the SHO are absolutely ugly.

all you really need is a generic one, and run the wires... it all depends on where u put it to how hard it is, im shaving mine when it gets painted, and relocating to the weather stripping on the winshield, i know the reception will not be that good but i use CD's 99% of the time.

Where would you get longer antenna wires? Junk yard? You can't just splice it in. And how are you relocating it to the weather stripping? I'm interested. Please elaborate!

I had a 1980 El Camino for my first car, and it's antenna was embedded in the windshield. 2 lines came up the windshield about an inch apart, and then curved out horizontally through the UV protected portion of the windshield. It looked great, and the reception was no different than any other antenna.
