Another problem PLEASE HELP!!!

OK i took my car north for a car show, I was driving along and the car hesitated real bad then stalled. It would not start back up, so i went and looked under the hood to check if anything came loose went and tryed it again and it started. Now if i drive it like more than 5 miles it will do the same thing but it will not start until like an hour. And it runs really bad, but if u let it set for a day it starts running good again. I know its something electrical, I thought it was the cps but the tach still goes up when i crank it over could it be a dis module? shoot

Most likely the CPS. Check the codes for the telltale error that would point the finger at the CPS. When the car stalled, did the atach drop immediately to zero even though the engine was still spinning? That would incriminate the CPS.

My '91 showed a steady 300rpm while cranking when my new CPS failed suddenly on me. I just had no spark at all.

Mine would do the same thing and it was the cps..What a fun thing to replace!
