all I can say about this is that one should never assume things are repaired based on the way the car runs until the car have gone through 7+ cycles of different types/lengths of driving conditions.

I have jumped through all of the hoops and my only reasonable last attempt at fixing the slight surge at idle is to replace the wiring harness (or repair it).
I obtained a used harness and plan on checking every lead prior to installation this winter.

Kirk alluded to this as being an issue several weeks ago. I have checked, repaired and replaced just about everything that is always mentioned as possible causes. The best improvement I ever got (most things did lessen the effect a bit) was replacing the O2 sensors.
But, the car still surges sometimes at idle and the ecu is taking all of the fuel it can out of the rear bank....all of the time. The part replacements lowered this threshold from @ 19% down to 15% most of the time, when it is at 10% the idle is fine, 15% and higher I have the surge, 17% and I set a fault (which hasn't happened all summer).

I'll report back in a few months, as to whether or not I had success.

are you sure you dont have an issure with fuel pressure(im sure you checked it) or an issue with the fuel rail it self. or bad injectors?

my short answer is 100% positively I don't have an problem in those areas, the longer answer is after replacing the fpr, cleaning the fr, replacing with blue printed injectors, checking pressure, checking fuel filter, checking lines, checking and more checking...no problem there.

i sure you know about that right.. is it anything like that?

been there, done that

over the past several years I've posted what I've done....so far I haven't missed any opportunity offered, to spend more time or money in this quest.....
I've measured values of sensors, put sniffers on wiring looms and much much more.
Bottom line, wiring harness and all connections (plugs sockets grounds) is my last effort to try.
