Well, it finally happened, another 11 second full weight SHO on stock turbos with no meth or nitrous. I'd like to thank everyone for answering my questions along the way especially @ridered74 since I basically used his recipe to get to where I'm at right now. One more big thanks to @mattr66 @ GH for the sweet e30 tune.

Air was great, DA 600-700 pretty much all day, ran out my washer fluid, front tires at 28psi and was 30 miles to empty with ethanol analyzer reading e34. It was interesting though, my first time down the track I went 12.08 so I was a little disappointed because it usually doesn't get faster during the day but there weren't that many people there so I hot lapped it since my intake temps came down during the run and took the right lane instead, that's when the little old lady handing out the time slips heard me yell "YES!" as I drove away with my 11.971 time slip. The other 11 second pass was after icing down the intake and my worst runs of the day (still 12.0's) were after heatsoaking the intake from sitting too long in the staging line. (an M5 blew up on the track, I think someone said motor, and a couple other mishaps causing me to sit and wait too long)

All in all a great day, but wait there's more! I didn't realize that my son had taken a video of the second 11 second pass, so as an added bonus, I'll be sharing it here (after spending some time yesterday) figuring out how to convert a MOV into a MP4, I hope you all enjoy!

Edited to add:

Of course, Ken, coming through once again with the video upload:

Congrats man, 11's still impressive in these big old boats!!

Glad to see my local tracks aren't the only ones that don't bother getting their time and dates correct in their system.

One other thing to note.

That pic at BP is me filling up 93 and going to the AO tune (since Matt eluded to this being a pretty spicy track only tune) I was laughing to myself because I'd be willing to bet the few other "street cars" that I saw run faster than the SHO, one was a twin turbo Lambo (10.7) and another was a McLaren (11.1) and maybe one or two other BMW's, didn't get 24MPG on their way home. :)

On both of my 11's runs, the traction control and stabilitrack were ******, so I knew it was a good launch and the SHO was just sayin' well played sir... well played.

That 1 ft roll out (like they post in the magazines)

Love that time and liking that blacked out chrome trim!

Thanks!

The wrap is getting a bit worn with the MN winters, I was thinking plasti dip next time, but I'm sure our winters would take care of that too.

YEah I am looking at what looks good and lasts. Seems like a constant chase. From a little back it looks so much better that oem chrome trim. I wonder if there is some treatment of the plastic that will allow paint to adhere, look close to original and wear pretty well?

I can't for the life of me understand why they do chrome on the interceptors, you really want to be all flashy and reflective when you're trying to be stealthy?

Then I could've just ripped them off and put the PI version on like I did with the grill.

Plastidip is great for the 10-12's peeling chrome on brake lights, but everything else I tried it on just didn't hold up long at all.

Full weight! Nice! I think Engine Masters just showed through dyno testing that icing the intake doesn't do anything. They had no change before or after. The explanation they gave was the air speed through the manifold was too fast for the molecules to entropy heat onto the cold intake manifold surface. Icing an intercooler though, with a lot more surface area, they said they would do something. Just throwing that out there.
