I bought my SHO about a year and a half ago and the previous owner had the 155lph Walpro pump installed. From the service records, I saw that one of the tickets stated "Customer is aware of fuel gauge not working, Check for fuel leaks from previous installation". My gauge always stays full except when I shut her off for a few hours, then she reads around 3/4 of a tank. When you turn the car back on, it goes way past full and stays there. When I run out of gas I dont even get a fuel light. Im not sure if the previous owner installed the pump/sender correctly. My question is, Can you buy a fuel sender seperate? or do you have to buy the fuel pump/sender as a assembly? I tried to drop the tank but the bolts were excessivly tight. Thanks for the help.....
