Another express down module question....

Hey gang, I didn't see anything in the archives about this, but I wanted to know if I could use the express-down module on my existing Gen 1 switch, or if i need the 3 position switch from the Gen 2 cars as well?

Anybody done this?

i added one to the 91, works great the wires are just different colors then in the gen II. but it does work. i can get you which wire goes where if you want but i'll have to tear the 91 apart again thumb thumb
