An unusual jbl system in junkyard

So I found an 89 in the junkyard this weekend I wanted parts from. It has the typical jbl setup with undermounted woofers and such. However the wiring and amp is totally different from any jbl systems with the two amps I have ever seen. It is not the 80 watt premium sound either, as I know what that looks like.

It was one ********* amp, with the wiring harness attaching to the top of it, and it had a warning about not touching as it could be hot and it needs ventilation. It had a ford logo on it, and it was not aftermarket. It had one gray and one black plug at the top. Is this something worth grabbing, plus the wiring?

Can any one tell me is this an early 89 thing?

maybe you are thinking of the gen 2 setup, I think the gen 1 amps were different, but I could be completely off on this, I'm a gen 2 guy. I do know this though, the gen 1 jbl kicks the crap out of my gen 2 jbl.

I have an 89 and a 95 both with the jbl setup, I know what both look like, this was different. I'll try to get a pic, since I want to go back for a few other parts.

I have an 89 with the JBL and it has the single big amp. I have been looking for a replacement(mines pooched) but all I can find is the two amp setup.
