Has anyone had any luck contacting AMR engineering? I've tried contacting them through chat a few times and have never heard back in over a month .

unfortunately they are pretty defunct now. I was working with them on several projects for the SHO, got all the way through buy-in commitment contracts and preliminary designs, then when it came time to buy prototypes from him he disappeared. Hasn't responded to anything in 3-4 months and according to a few others close to him he's getting sued by several people in the Subaru community. Really sucks to see such wasted potential.

Yes that definitely sucks. I was really hoping to grab a set of their coilovers for my MKS. Unfortunately that leaves godspeed and Megan as as the next best choices. LOL. Appreciate the info . Thanks cheers

There's bc racing also. The SHO has been on the back burner for a bit now, but when it comes time for coilovers bc is gonna be my choice.

Yes I forgot about BC. Not sure if them or Megan are a better choice.

BC seems to the winner of that debate pretty much anytime I see the two compared.

Now they are made by the same company, and they share a shit ton of characteristics, but the BCs are a better product. Better build quality, better longevity/reliability, better ride quality/handling. All that information is from reviews, and other forums etc, but that seems to be the consensus everywhere I look.

I've owned BC coil overs.. once! That company is really talked up but in the Evo and CSRT4 community, we were not fans. For the most part they were far too hard for street driving and the rebound was so short that you felt like you were falling off bumps after hitting them.

This has been my experience over the years as well. I've ridden in several and always felt they were really rough and must be tuned wrong then we installed a few sets ourselves and still sucked to DD.

Okay thanks for all the info people. So how are the Megan racing coilovers then . I looked at their spring rates and they seem to double what is stock on the front and drop the rear by 20%. That doesn't seem like it would be a good solution.

Really? that would be a bad idea. If I was designing spring rates for our car, I would increase the rear to reduce squat and leave the front alone. Especially if you're perf pack spring rate.
