I got my car from the junkyard with no audio equipment. They pulled the amps and the head unit. I'm looking to get a JBL head unit but I don't know what to do about the amps. Can I use a more powerful amp with the stock wiring? I don't want to drive any subwoofers, I just want to drive my Boston Acoustic three-ways properly with a stock head unit.

Would that be composite connections or speaker wire connections?
Speaker wire connections. You can also buy line level to RCA (composite style) converters if you had a specific amp in mind. PM me and I can give you detailed instructions on how to do it.
