I got my Ypipe from shoshop DAYS ago, but since i have a bad front mount i decided not to put it on. The mount is so bad the engine has like a 4 inch lift on it. I didnt want my y pipe to get pulled apart...right?

Damn man, thanx for the laugh. beer

I mean if your engine is lifting up 4 inches, and you talked with Tom, and ordered a y-pipe thumbs_u and did not get mounts, oh_my that is funny, FWIW If I owned your car I would do my maintance first, then the mods. Sounds like it would like some TLC. Besides that mount issue can cause a lot of $$damage$$ over time, and 4" of lift does not happen overnight. But either way, change the mounts first then put the pipe on. :)

That is good, and I did not mean any harm, just that it had to have had warning signs for a while before lifting 4"'s. I figure that was probably in the time frame of the order, mine was 2 weeks. But did not mean any harm, just thought 4" of lift was funny, and dangerous to your cv's and other things around the motor.

for the ~$240 to replace both mounts I'd do it ASAP. It'll save you in the long run...and put more power to the wheels.
