I had a thread called help yesterday. My sho died 50 miles from home. I had it towed to a dealer that was recomended by sho people as sho friendly. The car just died at 70 miles a hour. Turned over but would not start. Yesterday thay said the code said it was a constant control relay module.
Today the say its now the constant relay control module, ignition module, and the cam shaft position sensor. THe car has 114k on it. I dont know what was done to before I got it 1 year ago.

It may actually be one of those components, but it is very unlikely that all three would fail. And not set a code.

The cam shaft position (cylinder identification) sensor or the crankshaft position sensor (CPS)? The CID sensor will not **** the engine or prevent it from starting. The CPS, on the other hand, will prevent both when it fails. It will also prevent the tachometer from showing any rpm when cranking when it has failed.

You can check the integrated control module by turning the ignition key to ON and listening for the fuel pump. If no pump, then.... Shoot, read that link that I posted in your last post.

Doesn't sound like they have technicians that work there just parts changers. I would contact the Service Manager at the dealership and reguest for him to explain there diagnostic procedures. Depending on the symptoms the 60k service may not help.

Ok here we go I just got back from going there myself....
The constant control module has no power comin out of it at all. I watched the pull mine out and put the other in. The car started. No codes showing. We then drove it 20 some miles and the check engine light came on. Code 214. This dealer is who Cincinnati sho recomends..............

Just pay for the CCRM and get out of the dealer. If the CID sensor is indeed bad and not throwing a code due to a bad ground somewhere, it's a cheap part to replace yourself. Since the car ran, the ICM (DIS) is also obviously OK.

Well I got my car back today and drove it over 100 miles.
It was the constant control relay that killed the car. Then they got a code 214 so they replaced the cam sensor. Then the ignition control module was bad. Total of 910 bucks including the tow. Sucks but she runs awesome now. So this week it was:
910.00 for the electronics
239.00 for a alt last weds
279.00 when my rear caliper stuck and blew my pad and killed the rotor
212.00 for the new flowmasters
538.00 for my new tires
so I have spent over 2100 bucks in the last 10 days. So much for vacation
