but, i'm confused as to why having power to the windows would **** the battery. and the alternator? wtf? if you don't move the windows, you don't use any power.

i still think its a silly idea however. something like newer cars that runs the radio and windows for X minutes after the car shuts off or until a door is opened is a much better idea.

yes that is it great idea. maybe hook windows and radio up to a auto lights off switch. lmao

This becomes an issue when it is about to rain hard, and your keys are inside the house... somewhere.
I was going to suggest you could get an aftermarket alarm that usually has a couple of extra features (like window control) in the key fob....... but you still need the keys.

How about when you turn the key off, the accessory circuit still has power until you open the door? This can be done with 2x relays, very simple. Power all the time wouldn't be a good idea b/c the switches have LED's that light up.
