I'm really close to pulling the trigger on an aluminum dash kit like the ones sold on Carid, but I haven't seen one on our cars.

Does anyone have any custom dash kits that they can post (even if not aluminum) so I can better decide if it will look like a welfare mod or a suttle addition of opulence?

I think when people use all the parts on 40 pc. kits is where it looks like $hit. I hate to buy things I won't use, but I may only end up using 15 pcs. of the kit. I am still on the fence.

I have only installed the wood dash kits, and I only use real wood, not the plastic crap. With that said, I have a full center console kit and some door pieces on my current 2013 SHO. I just like the look of the wood in cars, always have, but then I am old enough to remember why they were called dash boards :)

It is manufactured by an American company, Remin, in the U.S. They also supply OEM products. I will try and post some pictures tomorrow. I did not cover the aluminum dash panels, and although I went around the NAV unit, I may remove it. I did not cover the HVAC control, as I like the look of the black polished surface. I pick and choose which pieces I use, and I have never installed the whole kit. I have also removed pieces, after I live with them for a while. All in all it was a quality kit.
