After installing a new belt/ tensioner pulley on my SHO it wont start. it wont turn over but attempts too. the battery light comes on when i turn the key to start it. i jumped it but it still wont start. Does the alternator need to be replaced or does the battery need to be replaced? or both?

Check for codes. If you jumped it and it still won't start and the starter is working you may have a faulty sensor. New timing belt or accessory belt & tensioner?
