Bump.
Okay, so I know that the ATX and 94-95 MTX alternators are the same, except for the wiring(the third wire).

Since that's the case, the "How-to" on the alternator swap shoul work, correct?

Just make sure the A pin on the regulator gets field voltage. You can wire the I pin to a dash light if you wish.

Oh, and an ATX and 94/95 MTX alts are so not the same. They are both considered 3G alts, but that's about where the similarities end. Oh, they both use the same pulley nut. :nut:

As long as you've got the alt. in place and lined up, it doesn't really matter. Whatever alt. you use, you need to provide field voltage and ground along with B+ output.
