Follow the green and yellow wires down the wiring harnest until you find the back wire then connect

Oh I see....
Heres the harness with the 3 connectors grn, blk and yel. But when I took the loom apart to trace the black one for you, it looks like it goes into the loom about 4 inches and dead ends...just like yours.

Edit: I just went to the diagrams page and saw this. Perhaps it needs to be strapped to the other wires. It might be there as a test lead, or perhaps it helps to cancel out some of the electrical noise created by the alternator. Not sure cause I'm not an Electrical Engineer but I would think about strapping it to the other wires.

Interesting problems. I have a 93 ATX and do not have that black wire. Only one black wire coming off the back where from your pictures I see 3 wires. Sounds like someone was putting aftermarket stuff on there.. Maybe..
