I'm trying to install some Autometer gauges and trying to retain the factory ones at the same time. Is there a second location for my new water temp sender, can I drill and tap somewhere?

Their is a plug on the back of the block or head I believe. It takes a 3/8 ratchet to remove it and your new sender should just screw in their, you may have to use some fittings that should have come with your new guage to get the proper fit. Make sure you use some teflon tape on the fittings to prevent leaks. thumbs_u

You need to install a T in place of the original sensor. Then, on one end of the top part of the T insert the stock sensor and on the other end put the autometer sensor. I've got some instructions on my website on this at http://www.kurtmetros.com/guagepod.html. It's mostly about the wiring, but the plumbing is covered too.
