The airbag light flashes... 5, 5. It is SO freakin' bright and annoying at night that I had to put black tape over it to mask it! The local garage is telling me I must go to Ford for the problem. They installed a starter for me ('cause I didn't have time to) and all of a sudden the car comes back with the airbag disarmed code flashing!!! What gives?

So where the heck do I start with this problem?

I think do the thing with the disconnect of the battery and press brake lights then let sit.

The local garage will not be able to fix the problem, unless they know what caused it.

If you can prove they broke it, have Ford fix it and have the local garage pay for the fix.

Sometimes it's as simple as a crash sensor, but they run $200+.

If you take it to Ford and they tell you you need any parts, let me know. I might be parting out my one and only beloved SHO in a few weeks...
(After I look to see if I have any block damage.)

OK, this is odd... has been off for a few days now. Started it the other night, the light started flashing. I turned the car off and restarted it, now it hasn't started flashing again.

This is an intermitten problem, apparently, so I will ignore it. There is no way anyone working at the Ford dealership will be able to reproduce the issue.

Whatever for now. just another annoying thing to keep my eyes on. :bonk:
