So.....I got EBC ultimax rotors(slotted) and EBC green pads. What I pulled off could almost be considered new. No ridge on the stock rotors and the pads were still 3/8" thick or so per pad. Here's where the fun starts. The factory pads have indentions(slots) built in to support a spring for both ends of the pads. The EBC greens did not. I said oh well and put everything together. Test drove the car and wasn't crazy about the way it felt, but the EBC's have that breakin material so I thought that was what I was feeling. Fast forward about a month, wife's car I rarely drive it. I get in and am driving still feels ****** IMHO. Moderate squeeze from 60 and the steering wheel shakes. I'm not happy. Does it pretty much every time I stop. The next day I jack the car up, put the factory pads on with the springs, test drove it 6 hard stops from 60ish down to around 10 and all felt good. Drove it some more any really no noticeable vibration or abnormal groaning. So now I'm waiting to hear back from AA about the pads which really aren't designed for our vehicles.
